Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are slightly milder than this time yesterday with early readings ranging from 33 in Clifton down to 23 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly.

Today will be milder despite some considerably high clouds that will filter any sunshine today. Winds will be light and highs will again be above normal in the low 50s.

Another mostly cloudy day on Presidents Day but it will continue to be mild.

A weak disturbance will give us a chance of rain on Tuesday that may be mixed with snow especially inland.

A stronger low pressure area will give us rain mainly from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

Friday will be cooler and breezy.

Another low pressure area will likely give us precipitation on Saturday and it may be cold enough for some accumulating snow especially over inland areas.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 22 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the afternoon, high in the upper 40s. Rain at night.

THURSDAY – FEB 23 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain mainly in the morning, high in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – FEB 24 – Mostly sunny and breezy, high in the mid 40s.

SATURDAY – FEB 25 – Mostly cloudy with rain and snow likely, high only in the mid 30s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 1 p.m. this afternoon through 6 a.m. Monday morning for southerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.
