Skies are clear early on this Friday morning and again it is quite cool with early temperatures ranging from 31 in Clifton down to 18 at Walpack. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure moving off the coast will give us a southerly flow of milder air today, but we will see an increase in clouds with a low chance of showers from late this afternoon into this evening, showers becoming more likely after midnight. Tonight’s lows will be considerably milder than the last few nights with readings only dropping into the 50s.

Quite mild on Saturday with showers mainly in the morning, we should see a break in the showers in the afternoon but a cold front moving through will cause showers in the evening with possible thunderstorms.

Sunny but cooler and breezy on Sunday.

Mild much of next week with a chance of showers Wednesday into Thursday as a weak front will be in our area.

A cold front crossed the area shortly after midnight with some showers and followed by a brisk northwest flow of colder air. Today will be chilly with highs only in the 40s and a brisk wind will make it feel colder, skies will be mostly sunny as high pressure builds into our area.

The high pressure will move off the coast on Friday causing an increase in clouds with showers developing by late afternoon and continuing through the night. With a southerly flow high temperatures will be mainly in the upper 50s.

Saturday looks to be a rather stormy day as a strong frontal system will be in our area. A strong southerly flow with gusts to 35 mph will help cause temperatures to rise to near 70 degrees. Showers and possibly some thunderstorms during the day. The cold front with the system will move through at night.

Sunday will be a cooler and breezy day but we should see plenty of sunshine.

Milder Monday through the mid week period with only a low chance of some showers on Wednesday as a weak frontal system approaches our area.

High pressure building into our area will give us a mostly sunny day with near seasonable temperatures along with light winds.

A cold front will sweep through our area around midnight with a chance of brief showers that may be mixed with snow across the higher elevations well to our north and west.

Thursday will be a chilly day despite plenty of sunshine. Winds will be gusty in the morning but diminsh in the afternoon.

A stronger frontal system will cause an increase in clouds on Friday which will give us a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening but most of the steady rain will be after midnight as the warm front with this system moves to our north.

Saturday will have showers but it will be unseasonably mild with gusty southerly winds, highs will be near 70 degrees. A cold front will cross the area at night.

High pressure is moving offshore as a frontal system approaches our area from the west, we should see an increase in clouds today with rain developing mainly after 5 p.m. and ending around midnight. Temperatures will be a little above normal with highs in the upper 50s. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Dry weather should prevail Tuesday through Thursday. A weak cold front will cross the area Wednesday afternoon or night followed by quite cool temperatures for Thursday.

A stronger frontal system will cause showers from Friday afternoon through Saturday night, however it will become quite mild as we will be in the warm sector of the storm with highs on Saturday approaching the 70 degree mark.

High pressure will then build into our area on Sunday with dry conditions and cooler temperatures.
