Rain ending early this morning but staying mostly cloudy today with near seasonable temperatures! Mostly sunny and milder on Sunday! Mainly quiet weather next week with only a chance of a shower late Monday night, temperatures will be near seasonable levels!

Rain is falling over much of the area early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 37 in Clifton down to 29 at High Point. Winds are from the northeast gusting to 25-30 mph.

Deep low pressure will be moving offshore today and most of the rain will end before sunrise although there still may be a shower before noon. Skies should remain mostly cloudy to cloudy with near seasonable temperatures in the 40s.

High pressure building into our area on Sunday will give us a mostly sunny day with milder temperatures.

Next week looks to be mainly dry with the only precipitation being in the form of rain or snow showers Monday night. High temperatures will be in the 50s on Monday and be mainly in the 40s the rest of the week which is near seasonable levels.

TODAY – MAR 4 – Cloudy with a chance of a morning shower, high in the upper 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy, low in the low 30s.

SUNDAY – MAR 5 – Mostly sunny and breezy in the afternoon, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – MAR 6 – Sunny, high in the low 50s. Chance of rain or snow showers after midnight.

TUESDAY – MAR 7 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 8 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – MAR 9 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – MAR 10 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until 3 p.m. this afternoon for westerly winds gusting to 40 knots, seas 6-11 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Sunday and Monday; advisories probable for Tuesday and Wednesday.
