A warm front is moving to our north this morning causing showers and even a thunderstorm in parts of the area. A strong southerly flow will cause temperatures to climb to near 70 degrees. There should be a break in the showers this afternoon with even some sunshine possible, but with a cold front approaching the area this evening some strong to severe thunderstorms may develop causing strong gusty winds and even a slight chance of a tornado or two (no joke). The front will be followed by a brisk northwest flow of cooler and drier air late at night.
Sunday will be a cool and breezy day, winds will diminish by late in the day.
Above normal temperatures much of next week with a chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday followed by clearing and cooler weather for Friday.
At this point Easter weekend looks to be mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures.
