More sunshine today but staying rather cool! Mostly sunny and a little milder on Monday! Chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers Tuesday through Thursday with slightly below normal temperatures! Dry and a little milder Friday into the beginning of next weekend!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are quite chilly for early June with readings ranging from 46 in Clifton down to 40 at Walpack. Winds are a little gusty out of the north.

High pressure north of the area will give us a mostly sunny day but it will remain cool with highs in the low 70s which is slightly cooler than normal.

A little milder on Monday as high pressure will continue to be in control of our weather.

An upper level low just off the New England coast will give us a chance of mainly afternoon or evening showers Tuesday through Thursday, but the chances are 50% or less.

Drier weather with a slow increase in temperatures Friday into Saturday.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy low in the low 50s.

MONDAY – JUNE 5 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – JUNE 6 – Mostly sunny with a chance of showers, highs near 80.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 7 – Mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, highs, in the mid 70s.

THURSDAY – JUNE 8 – Mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, highs in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – JUNE 9 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 10 – Mostly sunny, highs near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northeast winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Monday through Thursday.
