Showers and thunderstorms developing today! Showers still likely on Saturday! Mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures on Father’s Day! Mainly dry much of next week with temperatures averaging at or slightly below normal!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 60 in Clifton down to 50 at Pequest. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 59.

A frontal system will give us more showers and thunderstorms today mostly in the afternoon and evening, some of the thunderstorms may be accompanied by gusty winds, heavy rain and possibly some small hail. Highs will be near 80 with rainfall amounts averaging about an inch.

An upper level low pressure system will likely give us more showers on Saturday.

Father’s Day looks to be dry with seasonably warm temperatures.

At this point next week now appears that it will be drier than what was indicating yesterday with only a low chance of showers on Tuesday. Temperatures will average at or slightly below normal.

SUNDAY – JUNE 18 – Mostly sunny, highs near 80.

JUNETEENTH – JUNE 19 – Mostly sunny, highs near 80.

TUESDAY – JUNE 20 – Partly sunny with a chance of a shower, highs in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 21 – Partly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – JUNE 22 – Mostly sunny, highs near 80.
