Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and some inland valleys have some patchy fog. Temperatures range from 60 in Clifton down to 47 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 48.

The low pressure that gave us the rain the last two days has moved well offshore as high pressure builds from the west. Today we will have plenty of sunshine with high temperatures rising to well up into the 70s.

The warm weather will continue Monday through Thursday along with plenty of sunshine each day.

A couple of cold fronts will cross the area Friday and Saturday which will give us a chance of showers. Temperatures will be cooler.

TONIGHT – Clear, lows in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – OCT 2 – Sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – OCT 3 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 4 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – OCT 5 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – OCT 6 – Mostly cloudy, highs in the low 70s, chance of showers at night.

SATURDAY – OCT 7 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, highs near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas until 8 p.m. Monday night for northerly winds to 10 knots, seas 4-6 feet.

OUTLOOK: Advisories still possible on Tuesday; no advisories expected for Wednesday and Thursday.
