Becoming partly sunny, breezy and continued cool today! Mainly dry and cool Monday and Tuesday! A little milder and dry Wednesday and Thursday! Good chance of rain Friday into the weekend!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from 49 in Clifton down to 42 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the north. The air quality is good with an index of 31.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR OCTOBER 15TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 64 AVERAGE LOW: 46

RECORD HIGH: 85 – 2021 RECORD LOW: 34 – 1987

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 53 LOW: 47 PRECIPITATION: .80″

The storm that caused the rain yesterday is moving offshore and intensifying as weak high pressure builds from the northwest. Skies will become partly sunny this morning but more clouds will move in for this afternoon. Winds will be a little gusty out of the north and temperatures will remain below normal.

Cool and mainly dry weather Monday and Tuesday as a weak upper air disturbance moves through. There is a slight chance of a shower Tuesday morning but most places will remain dry.

Slightly milder and dry Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure will dominate our weather with plenty of sunshine both days.

And another low pressure system will give us a good chance of showers mainly Friday afternoon through Saturday. So it looks like we will have the 7th straight weekend with some rain.
