Good morning everyone!

Another unseasonably warm early morning with temperatures ranging from 61 in Clifton down to 49 at Walpack. Skies are mostly clear and winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 57.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR OCTOBER 28TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 59 AVERAGE LOW: 41

RECORD HIGH: 77 – 1984 RECORD LOW: 28 – 1976

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 79 (New Record) LOW: 59 PRECIPITATION: TRACE

One last day of unseasonably warm weather as the high pressure off the coast gives us a southwesterly flow of warm and rather humid air. High temperatures should rise into the lower 80s with dew points near 60. Skies will start off partly sunny through mid-morning then become sunny. A cold front is expected to come through dry tonight.

Much cooler on Sunday with rain likely developing in the morning as a disturbance moves along a front to our south and continue into Monday, highs both days will only be in the 50s. It also looks to be the 8th straight weekend with some rain.

At this time the front that will give us rain will move far enough to our south so Halloween looks dry and cool, but another disturbance on the front will give us a chance of rain late at night into Wednesday. Temperatures will continue to be chilly. Some of the rain Wednesday morning may be mixed with snow well inland.

Dry weather is expected for Thursday and Friday but temperatures will continue to be below normal.
