Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from 44 in Clifton down to 33 at High Point. Winds are from the north around 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 24.

High pressure will give us a mostly sunny day after some early morning clouds. Temperatures will be chilly with highs mainly in the low 50s. It will become mostly cloudy tonight as a weak low pressure moves well to our southeast. We should stay dry for the trick-or-treaters but there is a chance of showers after midnight, some of the showers may be mixed with snow well inland.

Clearing the rest of Wednesday as high pressure builds into our area, but it will continue to be chilly and widespread frost and freeze can be expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Dry weather is expected Thursday through the weekend with a slow increase in temperatures. At this point it looks like we may finally have a weekend without any precipitation.
