Cloudy today with light rain and drizzle ending by this afternoon! Dry and chilly weather for Halloween! Only a slight chance of a shower early Wednesday morning then partly sunny and quite cool! Mainly dry weather Thursday through the weekend with a slow moderation in temperatures!

Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there continues to be some light rain or drizzle falling. Temperatures range from 48 in Clifton down to 41 at High Point. Winds are from the north-northeast around 5-10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 11.

Low pressure along a front to our south will give us cloudy skies most of the day today with showers and light rain ending by this afternoon. High temperatures will be around 60 in our area but south of the front it will be warm with 80 degrees possible at Atlantic City.

High pressure will build in for Halloween and we should be dry during the day and evening for trick-or-treaters but it will be chilly.

Low pressure is now expected to remain offshore with only a low chance of showers early Wednesday morning followed by clearing, temperatures will continue to be quite cool.

Mainly dry weather can be expected Thursday through the weekend with a slow moderation in temperatures. There is a good chance of widespread frost and freeze Thursday morning.
