Low pressure off the Maine coast will give us cyclonic northerly flow of cool air. Skies will be mostly sunny this morning but some instability clouds will move in this afternoon with only a slight chance of some sprinkles.

High pressure will then build into the area on Tuesday giving us a mostly sunny day but with continued below normal tempertures.

Dry and somewhat milder Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure moves through the area.

A low pressure system will likely give us some rain Friday into Saturday followed by clearing, breezy and cool weather for Sunday.

The storm that caused the rain yesterday is moving offshore and intensifying as weak high pressure builds from the northwest. Skies will become partly sunny this morning but more clouds will move in for this afternoon. Winds will be a little gusty out of the north and temperatures will remain below normal.

Cool and mainly dry weather Monday and Tuesday as a weak upper air disturbance moves through. There is a slight chance of a shower Tuesday morning but most places will remain dry.

Slightly milder and dry Wednesday and Thursday as high pressure will dominate our weather with plenty of sunshine both days.

And another low pressure system will give us a good chance of showers mainly Friday afternoon through Saturday. So it looks like we will have the 7th straight weekend with some rain.

A low pressure system moving into our area will give us rain that should develop by late this morning and continue into early Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts will average 1/2 to 1 inch. Temperatures with the clouds and precipitation will only rise to the mid 50s.

We should see some clearing by late Sunday morning but it should remain mostly cloudy. High temperatures will be a few degrees higher than Saturday.

After a dry and cool Monday a weak disturbance will give us a chance of showers on Tuesday.

Fair weather Wednesday through Friday with a slight moderation in temperatures to near normal levels.

And guess what? More rain looks likely for next weekend.
