Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures here in Clifton have fallen to the coldest since last March. Readings range from 27 in Clifton down to 18 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 23.

High pressure building in from the west will give us a mostly sunny and chilly day today but with much less wind than yesterday, highs will only reach the lower 40s.

A low pressure system will cause increasing clouds on Sunday with slightly milder temperatures. Rain is expected mainly from 7 p.m. Sunday night through around 4 a.m. Monday morning. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/2 to 1 inch.

Clearing on Monday with near seasonable temperatures but it will become breezy.

Dry and quite cool weather is expected Tuesday through the end of the week.
