Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and it is cold with readings ranging from 25 in Clifton down to 17 at High Point. Winds are still a little gusty out of the west. The air quality is good with an index of 31.

High pressure is moving to the southeast states and we will have another cold day despite plenty of sunshine with highs in the 30s. Winds will be lighter than yesterday and become southwest.

A continued southwest flow around the high will bring milder air into the area on Thursday with mostly sunny skies and continued light winds.

A weak low pressure system should give us light rain from Friday afternoon ending around midnight. Rainfall amounts will be less than 1/4 inch. Temperatures will be seasonably mild.

Saturday will remain mostly cloudy with continued seasonably mild temperatures.

The weather becomes more uncertain Sunday through Tuesday as a few low pressure areas move through our area. Temperatures will average near normal through this period.
