Good morning everyone and Happy First Day of Meteorological Winter!

Skies are mostly clear and with light winds there is a wide range in temperatures on this first day of December with readings ranging from 34 in Clifton down to 22 at Walpack. The air quality is moderate with an index of 58.

Today we will have an increase in clouds and it will be seasonably mild with high temperatures similar to yesterday in the low 50s. A frontal system will likely give us rain mainly from 4-10 p.m. Rainfall amounts will be light averaging below 1/4 of an inch.

Saturday will be dry and mild as a weak high pressure moves through the area, highs will be well up into the 50s despite plenty of cloudiness.

Rain is expected on Sunday as another low pressure system moves through the area.

Mainly dry Monday through Thursday. Monday will be seasonably mild but temperatures should be below normal Tuesday through Thursday.
