Sunny and seasonably cold today! Dry and milder Friday and Saturday! Rain heavy at times with gusty winds mainly Sunday night into Monday morning with continued mild temperatures! Colder on Tuesday with a chance of rain and or snow showers!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are seasonably cold with readings ranging from 28 in Clifton down to 19 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light westerly. The air quality is good with an index of 40.

Very strong high pressure is building from the Midwest and will give us mostly sunny skies with temperatures at or a little below normal.

As the high pressure moves off the coast we will have milder air move into our area for Friday and Saturday along with mostly sunny skies both days.

A strong low pressure system is expected to affect our area with rain developing by Sunday evening and become heavy at times Sunday night into Monday. Rainfall amounts will average between 1-2 inches. Winds will be gusty out of the east.

Colder air will move in for Tuesday as the low moves off the coast and we may see some rain and or snow showers.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, lows near 30.

FRIDAY – DEC 15 – Sunny and milder, highs in the mid 50s.

SUNDAY – DEC 17 – Cloudy with rain developing mainly after 3 p.m., highs in the low 50s. Rain heavy at times at night.

MONDAY – DEC 18 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely mainly in the morning, breezy, highs in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – DEC 19 – Partly sunny and breezy with a chance of rain or snow showers, highs in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – DEC 20 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 40s.
