Sunny today with temperatures rising to above freezing for the first time in over a week! Mild with periods of rain from Tuesday afternoon through the day on Friday! Dry and a little cooler on Saturday! Chance of rain or snow on Sunday!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Monday morning and with calm winds there is a big difference in temperatures with readings ranging from 19 in Clifton down to a cold 4 degrees at Walpack. The air quality is good with an index of 29.

Strong high pressure over the area will move offshore and we will have a return flow of milder air as temperatures rise to above freezing for the first time since Sunday January 14th.

Skies will become cloudy on Tuesday with a chance of light rain in the afternoon and night as a weak low pressure moves along a front to our north. Some of the precipitation may be mixed with sleet and snow well inland.

Periods of rain will continue Wednesday through Friday with milder temperatures as areas of low pressure continue to move through our area. High temperatures Thursday and Friday should be in the 50s.

Continued mild on Saturday and we should be dry but another low pressure area may cause some rain or snow on Sunday.
