Mostly cloudy and windy today with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm through early this afternoon! Cool and breezy on Saturday! Milder on Sunday with a low chance of showers in the afternoon and at night! Quite mild much of next week with another low chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and some of the heavy showers along with a few rumbles of thunder have moved to our north and east and only scattered showers are occurring now. Temperatures are quite mild, mainly in the upper 50s to low 60s across the area. The winds are gusty out of the south. The air quality is good with an index of 38.

A strong frontal system is moving through the area; most of the heavy rain has moved to our north and east but there will still be a chance of showers through early this afternoon. Winds will be brisk with some gusts to 32 mph.

Still mostly cloudy on Saturday with breezy and cool conditions, highs will only be in the 50s and with winds gusting to 33 mph will make it feel even cooler. High pressure will then build in for Sunday and it will be noticeably milder with less wind, highs will approach 70 degrees. A weak disturbance will give us a low chance of showers in the afternoon and at night.

Quite mild much of next week and we should stay mainly dry with another low chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday as a weak warm front approaches our area.

TUESDAY – APRIL 16– Mostly sunny, highs in the low 70s, chance of showers after midnight.

WEDNESDAY – APRIL 17 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, highs near 70.

THURSDAY – APRIL 18 – Partly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until noon for southerly winds gusting to 45 knots, seas 7-12 feet.
