The strong low pressure north of the Great Lakes that gave us the chilly temperatures along with strong winds yesterday is moving further away and weakening as high pressure builds into the area. Today will be mostly sunny and much milder with highs in the 70s. Winds will increase this afternoon and may gust to 30 mph.

A weak cold front will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight, some of these storms may be quite strong across our inland areas to our north and west.

High pressure will then be in control for Monday and Tuesday which will give us a couple of nice spring days with highs both days around 70.

Unsettled weather Wednesday through the beginning of next weekend as a series of fronts will be moving through our area. Temperatures will be cooler with the clouds and an onshore wind.
