Skies are mainly clear across our area on this Tuesday morning and with calm winds there is a large difference in temperatures with readings ranging from 42 in Clifton down to 28 at Walpack and Sandyston. The air quality is good with an index of 39.

High pressure in our area will give us another sunny day today with near seasonable temperatures.

A weak frontal system will give us a low chance of light showers on Wednesday. After the system moves to our east a gusty northwest flow will develop and it will become much cooler Wednesday night.

Dry but quite cool Thursday through Saturday as a Canadian high pressure builds into our area.

There is a slight chance of a shower Sunday morning as a warm front passes through, it will become much warmer in the afternoon with highs well up into the 70s.

Dry and quite warm on Monday with most highs in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness, lows in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY – APRIL 24 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light showers mainly before 2 p.m. becoming breezy, highs in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – APRIL 25 – Sunny, highs near 60.

FRIDAY – APRIL 26 – Sunny, highs near 60.

SATURDAY – APRIL 27 – Partly sunny, highs near 60.

SUNDAY – APRIL 28 – Mostly cloudy and becoming warmer, highs in the mid 70s.

MONDAY – APRIL 29 – Partly sunny and warm, highs in the low 80s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. this afternoon through 6 p.m. Wednesday evening for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK: Advisories possible Thursday morning then no advisories expected Thursday afternoon through Saturday.
