Sunny and cool today! Dry and continued cool Friday and Saturday! Chance of morning showers on Sunday followed by much warmer air! Sunny and quite warm on Monday! Not quite as warm with a chance of showers on Tuesday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from 40 in Clifton down to 30 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the north-northeast. The air quality is good with an index of 41.

High pressure building from the Great Lakes will give us a sunny day but cool with highs mostly in the 50s, winds should diminish by this afternoon.

The high pressure will continue dry and cool weather Friday and Saturday, Friday should be sunny but we will see an increase in clouds on Saturday.

A warm front may cause some showers Sunday morning followed by clearing and warmer conditions by the afternoon.

Monday looks to be the warmest day so far this year with highs in the low 80s along with plenty of sunshine.

A weak cold front may cause some showers on Tuesday with slightly lower high temperatures.

Wednesday looks to be mostly sunny with continued above normal temperatures.

SATURDAY – APRIL 27 – Increasing cloudiness, highs near 60.

SUNDAY – APRIL 28 – Chance of morning showers then becoming partly sunny and warmer, highs in the mid 70s.

MONDAY – APRIL 29 – Mostly sunny and warm, highs in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – APRIL 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, highs in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 1 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Friday through Sunday.
