Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than the last few mornings with readings ranging from 48 in Clifton down to 42 at High Point. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 35.

A warm front will be moving through our area today, cloudy skies this morning then becoming partly sunny and warmer with highs well up into the 70s. A weak disturbance may cause some showers and thunderstorms this evening.

Monday is expected to be the warmest day of year so far with temperatures reaching the 80s along with mostly sunny skies. A back door cold front will cross the area Monday night.

Not as warm on Tuesday with a chance of showers Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning as a weak front will be in our area.

Mainly dry and mild Thursday through the day on Friday.

Another weak frontal system may cause some showers Friday night into Saturday, temperatures will continue to be milder than normal.
