Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and some inland areas have dense fog. Temperatures are unseasonably mild with early readings ranging from 62 in Clifton down to 56 at Hackettstown. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 61.

Today is expected to be the warmest day so far this year. Skies will be mostly sunny and temperatures should rise to the 80s by early this afternoon. A back door cold front will cross our area late in the afternoon or this evening which will give us a chance of showers late this afternoon into this evening.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy as a stationary front will be just to our south, with an onshore flow temperatures will be cooler with highs only around 70. A weak disturbance will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday and Friday should be dry with temperatures a little above normal.

Another weak frontal system may give us some scattered showers for the weekend but it should not be a washout.
