Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and the temperature in Clifton has fallen to a record low tying 30 degrees, we could break the record before the sun comes up. The lowest temperature in the area is a chilly 22 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 19.

Strong high pressure over our area will give us a sunny day today with somewhat milder temperatures after a chilly start. Winds will be light.

A warm front to our south will likely give us some rain mainly Wednesday morning, rainfall amounts should be less than 1/4 inch.

Thursday will be the mildest day of the week as high pressure builds over the area, most highs will be in the low 70s.

Friday will be a dry and a little cooler.

Unsettled weather with below normal temperatures are expected for the weekend. Rain is likely on Saturday with still a chance of showers for Sunday.

Monday looks to be dry with near seasonable temperatures.
