Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there is some light showers falling over parts of the area. Temperatures are about 15 degrees milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 45 in Clifton down to 35 at High Point. Winds are calm or light southerly. The air quality is good with an index of 36.

A weak warm front moving through our area today will cause cloudy skies most of the day with occasional light showers. Temperatures will be below normal and it will be a little breezy with a southeast flow.

Tomorrow will be a very pleasant spring day giving us sunny skies and it will be a little breezy in the afternoon, highs will be in the low 70s.

Friday will still be dry and a little cooler but with less wind.

Quite cool on Saturday with showers likely as a low pressure area moves into the area.

We should be dry and not quite as cool on Sunday as high pressure builds form the north.

After a dry Monday another low pressure area will likely give us more showers on Tuesday.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy, lows in the mid 40s.

THURSDAY – APR 23 – Sunny, breezy and mild, highs in the low 70s. Wind gusts to 25 mph.

FRIDAY – APR 24 – Partly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – APR 25 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, highs in the low 50s, showers likely at night.

SUNDAY – APR 26 – Chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny, highs in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – APR 27 – Mostly sunny, highs in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – APR 28 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, highs near 60.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. this afternoon for southerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.
