Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from 63 in Clifton down to 57 at Hackettstown. Winds are a little gusty out of the southwest. The air quality is good with an index of 43.

A cold front approaching from the west will give us an increase in clouds with periods of rain mainly from noon through around 9 p.m. Forecast rain amounts have lowered and we should average between 1/10th to 1/4 inches. The front will cross the area late tonight.
Now it looks like Thursday will be dry with skies becoming mostly sunny, temperatures will be a little below normal.
Weak high pressure will then give us a dry day on Friday with continued seasonably cool temperatures.
A weak disturbance will likely give us some showers mainly between 8 a.m through 2 p.m. on Saturday.
High pressure will then build back into the area for Mother’s Day giving us plenty of sunshine and quite mild temperatures.
A stronger frontal will give us showers from late Sunday night into the day on Monday followed by a dry Tuesday as another high pressure area builds into our area.
