Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 49 in Clifton down to 42 at High Point. Winds are light mainly from the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 17.

Today will be a partly sunny day as the upper level low that caused the considerable clouds yesterday moves away from the area. Northwest winds will be a little brisk this afternoon.

Summer like warmth will be with us this weekend through at least the middle of next week as high pressure moves off the coast and we will have mainly a west-southwest flow of air.

The next chance of showers will be Wednesday into Thursday as a cold front moves into our area. Cooler weather is expected at the end of next week.
