Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and with mainly calm winds there is a large spread in temperatures with readings ranging from 51 in Clifton down to 39 at Sandyston. The air quality is good with an index of 24.

Much warmer today as high pressure is off the Carolina coast gives us a southwesterly flow of air. Skies will be sunny.
There is a chance of early morning sprinkles on Sunday then it will be sunny during the day and quite warm with high temperatures in the upper 80s.
A weak back door cold front on Monday will cause slightly cooler marine air on Monday but the front will move back to our north at night.
Near record breaking heat Tuesday and Wednesday with highs both days well up into the 90s as winds will be from the west-southwest.
A cold front will cross the area late Wednesday night possibly accompanied by some showers.
Cooler weather but mainly dry Thursday and Friday as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 20 – Mostly sunny and very hot with a chance of showers after 2 p.m., highs in the mid 90s.
THURSDAY – MAY 21 – Partly sunny and cooler, highs in the low 70s.
FRIDAY – MAY 22 – Partly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.
MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. this afternoon through 10 a.m. Sunday morning for southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-6 feet. Belmar’s ocean temperature is only 53 degrees.
OUTLOOK: No advisories expected for Monday; advisories possible for Tuesday and Wednesday.
