Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures are unseasonably mild with readings ranging from 69 in Clifton down to 55 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 45.

Today will be hot again as the expected back door cold front will stay to our north and we will have a southwest flow from the Bermuda high pressure off the coast.
Tuesday will even be hotter with high temperatures reaching the mid-upper 90s. Central Park’s record for the highest May temperature was on May 19, 1962 and we will come close to that record.
Wednesday will still be hot but an approaching cold front will give likely give us showers and possibly some thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
Dry and much cooler Thursday through the day on Friday as a Canadian high pressure builds toward our area.
Unsettled weather for the holiday weekend with showers likely Friday night through Sunday with below normal temperatures. Conditions were much more summer-like this past weekend.
