Today will be a hot day with high temperatures near 90. The winds will be lighter than yesterday. Skies will be sunny as high pressure ridge off the Carolina coast dominates our weather.

A weak back door cold front will briefly move to our south on Monday and we should have more of an onshore wind, still high temperatures should rise well up into the 80s.

The front will move to our north early Tuesday morning and we will have a west-southwest flow of very hot air with temperatures rising to the mid 90s along with mostly sunny skies.

Wednesday will be less hot as a cold front approaches our area that will likely give us showers and possibly some thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and at night.

Canadian high pressure will then build into the area for Thursday and Friday giving us much cooler air along with partly to mostly sunny skies both days.

The front to our south may move close enough on Saturday to cause some showers, temperatures will remain seasonably cool.
