Mostly sunny, breezy and not as hot or humid today! Dry and seasonably warm Monday and Tuesday with low humidity! Another heatwave expected Wednesday through the weekend this time with more humidity and a low chance of afternoon and evening showers each day!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 66 in Clifton down to 59 at Hackettstown. Winds are light from the west. The air quality is moderate with an index of 52.

After last night’s showers and thunderstorms that had some gusty winds, today’s weather will be rather quiet with warm temperatures and lower humidity. Another weak cold front is expected to come through dry this afternoon followed by breezy and somewhat cooler air by this evening.

High pressure will give us nice weather Monday and Tuesday with plenty of sunshine each day. High temperatures will be near 80 on Monday then rise to the upper 80s on Tuesday. Humidity will remain low.

A ridge of high pressure will then dominate our weather giving us another heatwave Wednesday through the weekend. Unlike this past heatwave this time the humidity will be much higher. Also there is a low chance (30%) of afternoon and evening showers each day.

THURSDAY – JUNE 11 – Mostly sunny, hot and humid with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, highs in the low-mid 90s.

FRIDAY – JUNE 12 – Mostly sunny, hot and humid with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, highs in the low 90s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 13 – Mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, highs near 90.
