Today will be a partly sunny day but a weak cold front will cross the area this afternoon and although most of the area will be dry there is a 20% chance of a popup shower with even a rumble of thunder!
A strong low pressure system will affect our area on Monday with rain and possibly some thunderstorms. The rain should begin around noon and become heavy at time late in the afternoon and evening. Rainfall amounts will average between 1-2 inches.
The low pressure area will be slow to move through our area so some showers are expected to linger into the afternoon on Tuesday.
Dry weather is expected with near normal temperatures Wednesday through the day on Thursday as weak high pressure builds into our area.
Another weaker frontal system will likely give us some rain showers late Thursday night through Friday with some showers still possible on Saturday.
