Lingering rain ending this afternoon! Mostly sunny and warmer both Wednesday and Thursday! Showers and possibly some thunderstorms Thursday night through Saturday! Sunny and seasonably warm both Sunday and Monday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there are some showers falling in parts of the area. Temperatures range from 69 in Clifton down to 60 at High Point and Vernon. The winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 55.

An area of low pressure will move slowly off the coast and lingering rain showers are likely into this afternoon. It will be humid this morning then becoming less humid by later in the day.

High pressure will then build into our area giving us mostly sunny days both Wednesday and Thursday along with warmer temperatures. Daytime temperatures will be in the middle 80s and the humidity will not be that bad with dew points in the 50s on Wednesday and near 60 on Thursday.

A slow moving frontal system will likely give us more showers from Thursday night into the day on Saturday.

High pressure then builds back into our area giving us mostly sunny days both Sunday and Monday with seasonably warm temperatures.

SATURDAY – JUNE 27 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely and possibly some thunderstorms, highs near 80.
