CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR JULY 17TH:

Weak high pressure building form the Great Lakes area will give us a pleasantly warm day today with comfortable humidity. The smoke in our area early this morning should diminish throughout the day as much of this smoke will move to our south.

The smoke is expected to return Saturday morning. A frontal system will likely give us rounds of showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night.

Much of the smoke will move well away from our area on Sunday. Weak high pressure then will build into our area giving us very pleasant summer weather both Sunday and Monday with plenty of sunshine both days along with lower humidity.

Another frontal system will likely give us some more showers and possibly some thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday.

Dry and comfortable weather looks likely at the end of next week.
