After having several days of sunny and pleasant weather this week we will have much more cloudiness along with higher humidity. A slow moving frontal system will likely give us showers mainly this afternoon and evening with a chance of thunderstorms. Skies will be partly sunny and after having dew points in the 50s, today they will rise to the upper 60s by later in the day.
Showers and some thunderstorm are expected Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain will likely be heavy at times with some flooding possible. Rainfall amounts will average between 2-3 inches. Also it will be quite humid with dew points rising to above 70 degrees.
The frontal system will gradually move offshore on Thursday but an upper low may cause some lingering showers.
Weak high pressure should give us dry weather Friday and Saturday along with seasonable temperatures and moderate humidity.
Another frontal system approaching our area will give us a chance of showers on Sunday.
