Skies across the area are mostly cloudy and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 54 in Clifton down to 51 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the south.

Today will be a mild but cloudy and breezy day as a southerly flow will dominate our weather ahead of a cold front that will cross the area tonight with showers mainly after 5 p.m.
Easter Sunday will be much cooler and breezy with highs struggling to reach the low 50s, winds will be gusty out of the northwest.
Cool early next week and a low pressure system will give us some significant rain Monday night into Tuesday morning. Rainfall amounts will likely be above one inch.
Dry weather with a slow moderation in temperatures Wednesday through Friday.
