A low pressure system over the Ohio Valley will move into our area today with rain developing this morning and continuing through Sunday morning with showers likely Sunday afternoon through Sunday night. With the clouds and an onshore wind the high temperatures both today and Sunday will be about 15 degrees below normal. Total rainfall will be between 1-2 inches. The rain is well needed but unfortunately it will fall on the holiday weekend.

We may see some sunshine on Memorial Day but there will still be a chance of showers as a warm front moves through our area.

High pressure will then give us dry and warm conditions Tuesday and Wednesday.

A weak cold front may touch off some showers on Thursday.
