A weak disturbance caused some showers with a rumble of thunder around 2:30 a.m. and has moved offshore. Today will be a warm day and continued rather humid. A cold front will cross the area this afternoon but with no rain as skies will remain mostly sunny. The humidity will drop tonight.
The Labor Day weekend will be very nice with comfortable temperatures and humidity along with plenty of sunshine each day.
Main dry with near normal temperatures much of next week but there will be a chance of showers Wednesday night.
