Mostly cloudy and mild today with a chance of showers! Cooler on Saturday! Rain likely late Saturday into Sunday!

We have cloudy skies early on this Friday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the mid 40s in Clifton down to around 40 further inland, winds are light southwesterly.

Today a cold front will be crossing the area this afternoon accompanied by some showers, it will be mild ahead of the front with temperatures reaching the 50s. Behind the front a brisk northwest flow of cooler air will develop for late this afternoon into tonight with clearing skies.

Saturday weak high pressure will briefly move into the area, it will be cooler, skies will be partly sunny in the morning but we should see an increase in clouds in the afternoon as low pressure from the southwest approaches.

Rain is likely mainly from Saturday night into Sunday morning, the precipitation may start off as freezing rain or sleet in the higher elevations well to our north and west. Temperatures will be seasonably cool.

Dry weather with seasonably mild temperatures Monday and Tuesday as high pressure builds into our area.

A cold front may cause some showers on Wednesday along with mild temperatures.

Thanksgiving should be dry with cooler temperatures but not nearly as cold as last year when the high temperatures were only in the 20s.

TONIGHT – Becoming mostly clear and breezy, low around 30.

SATURDAY – NOV 23 – Mostly sunny in the morning, increasing clouds in the afternoon, high in the upper 40s, rain likely at night.

SUNDAY – NOV 24 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely mainly in the morning, high in the upper 40s.

MONDAY – NOV 25 – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

TUESDAY – NOV 26 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 27 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the mid 50s.

THANKSGIVING DAY – NOV 28 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning for westerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected during the day on Saturday; advisories likely Saturday night through Sunday night; no advisories expected for Monday and Tuesday!
