Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and some light rain is lingering over parts of the area. Temperatures are unseasonably mild with readings ranging from 48 in Clifton down to 44 at Vernon. Winds are a little gusty out of the north. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

The coastal storm that gave us the rain yesterday is moving further away to near Nova Scotia as high pressure builds from the west. Today will be a mostly cloudy day, and it will breezy; high temperatures will not rise that much from the present readings with highs mostly in the mid 50s.

High pressure will be in control of our weather on Friday finally giving us a mostly sunny day with seasonably mild temperatures.

The third round of widespread rain can be expected mainly from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning with another inch or so of rainfall. The storm will move away on Sunday afternoon but it will remain mostly cloudy with increasing winds.

Mainly dry weather Monday through at least the middle of next week, Monday will be cool and breezy but it will become milder again Tuesday and Wednesday with lighter winds.

The second rain storm of the week will move into our area today with rain developing by early this afternoon and continuing heavy at times through tonight before tapering off to showers and ending on Thursday. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches likely and a flood watch is in effect.

Friday will be a very nice early March day with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures.

The third rain storm of the week will affect our weather for the weekend with another 1-2″ of rain possible.

Dry but windy weather is expected for early next week as the low pressure moves to the Canadian Maritimes and high pressure builds from the west.

Low pressure is moving into our area from the south and we will have rain today ending by this evening, temperatures will be seasonably mild with highs near 50. Rainfall amounts around 3/4 of an inch.

Dry Wednesday morning but another storm will give us rain Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon. Rain amounts is expected to be between 1-2 inches.

Another brief break in the rain Thursday evening through Saturday morning.

The third round of rain is likely Saturday afternoon through Sunday with another inch of rain possible.

Today will not be as mild as we will have more clouds and a light northerly flow from weak high pressure; still highs will be in the upper 50s which is still more than ten degrees above normal.

A low pressure area will move into the area from the south giving us rain from before dawn on Tuesday through the early evening. High temperatures will be a little cooler due to the rain and clouds. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/2 and 3/4 of an inch.

There will be a break in the rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning but a stronger low pressure system will give us rain some possibly heavy Wednesday afternoon through the day on Thursday. Rainfall amounts should be between 1-2 inches.

Another brief break in the rain on Friday.

More rain is likely for the weekend with temperatures closer to normal.

Yesterday’s storm caused much more rain than the 1/2″ we predicted.

High pressure is building into our area today and skies will become partly sunny, temperatures will be quite mild with most highs in the low 60s. Today may be the best weather day of this week.

High pressure will then move off the coast on Monday and we should see an increase in clouds with a chance of rain at night as a weak coastal low approaches our area. High temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than today.

The rest of the week into the weekend will be mild but there will be more chances of rain as a couple of low pressure areas move through our area.
