Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 50s in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland. Some light rain is moving into western New Jersey. Winds are light.

A strong cold front will be moving through our area this morning accompanied by some light rain, as the front moves to our east the rain may change to snow before ending around noon! No accumulation is expected in Clifton but a dusting may accumulate to our north and west. Temperatures in the low 50s now will drop to the low 30s by sunset along with strong northwest winds.

Tomorrow will be frigid with early morning temperatures falling into the teens with some record lows possible. During the day the highs will struggle to reach the mid 30s despite plenty of sunshine. With gusty winds it will feel even colder.

Sunny and still rather cold on Thursday but with much less wind.

Dry weather should persist Friday through the weekend, temperatures will be mild on Friday but colder air will move in for the weekend but not as cold as what we will experience later today and on Wednesday.

A frontal system may give us some precipitation early next week.

Today will be a partly sunny and mild day ahead of a strong cold front approaching from the west, high temperatures will approach the 60 degree mark.

The cold front will cross the area Tuesday morning with rain developing around daybreak and mixing and changing to snow before ending early in the afternoon. A dusting of less than an inch is possible in our area but an inch or two may accumulate in the higher elevations to our north and west. Temperatures will be in the 50s overnight and fall to the 30s by sunset.

An Arctic blast will likely give us the coldest air of the season on Wednesday with lows in the teens and highs struggling to reach the freezing mark, gusty winds will make it feel colder despite plenty of sunshine.

Dry weather with slowly moderating temperatures Thursday and Friday.

A cold front should cross the area Friday night with no precipitation expected and will be followed by colder air for the weekend but not nearly as cold as the middle of this week.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from the low 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will be moving off the coast today with a southwest flow of milder air, skies will be partly sunny with high temperatures about 10-15 degrees warmer than yesterday.

Mild again on Veterans Day ahead of strong cold front, skies will again be partly sunny.

The cold front with a developing low pressure along the front will cause rain from before dawn on Tuesday and may mix with snow before ending in the afternoon. No accumulation of snow is expected here but an inch may accumulate across higher elevations well to our northwest.

The air behind the front may even be colder than our past cold snap with early morning lows in the teens Wednesday morning and highs only in the low to mid 30s and with rather strong winds it will feel colder despite sunny skies.

Thursday will be cold with lighter winds.

Friday into the weekend will be mainly dry with slowly moderating temperatures.

Skies across the area are clear and temperatures are the coldest since last March with readings ranging from the low 20s in Clifton down to a chilly 12 degrees at Walpack, winds are light northerly.

Today will be a mostly sunny day and chilly but with lighter winds as high pressure builds over our area.

Milder Sunday and Monday and it should remain dry.

A frontal system will likely give our are rain mainly Tuesday morning. It now appears that the rain will end before much cooler air moves into our area so the only snow will be well northwest of our area.

High pressure over the midwest will build into our area giving us a brisk and chilly day, highs will only reach the low 40s and with winds gusting to 30 mph will make it feel even colder. Skies will be mostly fair. With clear skies and light winds temperatures tonight will drop down well into the 20s giving our area a hard freeze and end our growing season.

Saturday will be chilly but with much lighter winds, skies will continue to be mostly fair.

Dry weather will persist Sunday and Monday with milder temperatures.

Another front will likely give us some rain Monday night into Tuesday. The rain may change to snow late in the day on Tuesday and depends how much moisture there is as colder air moves into the area.
