Weak high pressure building over the area will give us a mostly sunny day today with seasonably mild temperatures and light winds.

Dry Monday and Tuesday, temperatures will be slightly above normal on Monday and near seasonable on Tuesday.

A storm system will give our area rain on Wednesday with some heavy rain possible.

Thursday will be a windy day but with mostly sunny skies and it will be cooler as the low pressure moves to the Canadian Maritimes and high pressure builds from the west.

Dry and cool on Friday with less wind.

At this time it looks like next weekend will be dry and seasonably mild.

The coastal storm that became Subtropical Storm Melissa is finally moving further east and we should see clearing today along with much less wind and milder temperatures.

High pressure will build into our area on Sunday producing plenty of sunshine with seasonably mild temperatures. If we stay dry this weekend it will be the 8th straight weekend without any measurable rainfall.

Dry weather with seasonably mild temperatures Monday and Tuesday.

A frontal system will likely give our area rain on Wednesday followed by dry and cool weather for the end of next week.

The ocean storm continues to remain nearly stationary south of Long Island. The cloud shield for the storm is expected to move westward and we should see an increase in clouds over the area but we should not have any rain. Clouds should help keep temperatures on the cool side.

Another nice weekend is expected as the low moves further offshore, temperatures will be seasonable seasonably mild.

Dry with seasonable mild temperatures Monday and during the day on Tuesday.

A cold front coming through the area may touch off some showers Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Fair and cooler weather is expected for the end of next week.

The pesky ocean storm will continue to give us windy and cool conditions in our area today and tomorrow along with a chance of mainly light rain or drizzle. Although it will be mainly cloudy we still may have some sunshine breaking through the clouds. Winds will continue to gust to near 35 mph.

Another dry weekend is likely as high pressure builds into the area producing more sunshine and milder tempertures. If we stay dry this weekend will make it the 8th straight weekend without measurable precipitation.

A storm off the coast will remain nearly stationary today through Friday producing a strong northeast flow of cool air, wind gusts to 35 mph are possible. Along with the wind there will be chances of mainly light rain through the period. Stronger winds and heavier rain is likely across coastal areas along with possible coastal flooding.

Sunshine with milder temperatures is expected over the weekend, there is a chance of a shower on Saturday as a weak cold front crosses the area.

Mainly dry with seasonable temperatures early next week.
