It is quite mild this morning with most area temperatures in the 50s to around 60 degrees.
A cold front is approaching the area and will pass through this afternoon.. Showers with this front will occur from around 10am till 2 pm, most rainfall will be light with only about a tenth of an inch expected.
Clearing towards evening and becoming cooler, temperatures tomorrow morning will be about 20 degrees colder than this morning.

Mostly cloudy skies this morning at daybreak with temperatures mainly in the low 40s in the Clifton area, with even the 40s in northwest New Jersey and the Poconos, the coolest readings are in southern parts of New Jersey where it is in the low 30s in spots with clear skies down there.
Today will be milder with partly sunny skies and temperatures rising into the lower 60s.
A cold front will be crossing the area on Thursday, tonight will be mild with a chance of showers toward morning. Showers are likely tomorrow morning followed by clearing.
Cooler and dry weather Friday into the weekend.
Looking at the long range it appears now it will remain cool and dry through most of next week.

Temperatures this morning are mainly in the mid 30s in the Clifton area to some upper 20s well inland which is about five degrees warmer than yesterday morning, winds are light.
Strong high pressure off the Maine coast will continue our dry pattern and temperatures will moderate today rising to the low 50s.
Milder and dry on Wednesday but skies will remain mostly cloudy.
A cold front will cross the area on Thursday accompanied by some showers, it will continue to be mild.
Dry and cooler weather Friday into next weekend with most highs in the 50s.

Temperatures this morning are near 30 degrees in the Clifton area to near 20 in the coldest spots of Sussex county. Skies are clear and there still is some gusty winds around.
Large high pressure over New York state will keep it chilly today but with less wind than yesterday.
Looking at the computer models today may be the coolest day of the next two weeks.
Slight warming trend on Tuesday with even milder temperatures on Wednesday.
Warmer still on Thursday but we will have a chance of showers as a cold front moves through.
Cool and dry weather Friday into next weekend but not as cool as yesterday and today.

Temperatures early this morning are in the upper 40s in the Clifton area to the low 40s inland. Skies for the most part are cloudy right now and these clouds will probably hinder the viewing of the partial solar eclipse that starts at sunrise (6:30am with the time change) and last 45 minutes.
Clouds will clear out later this morning and temperatures will not rise much as a cold front is moving to our south and high pressure builds into our area. North winds gusting to 20mph will make it feel much cooler than yesterday.
Tonight a freeze warning has been issued for the Clifton area as temperatures with clear skies dip into the chilly 20s.
Monday will still be chilly but with less wind it will feel more comfortable by the afternoon, skies will be mostly sunny.
A warming trend will start on Tuesday and last until Thursday with the next chance on Thursday as a cold front moves through.
Dry and seasonably cool weather Friday into next weekend.
