Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and once again temperatures are quite warm with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 77 in Clifton down to 62 at Sandyston and Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly.

One more very hot day today with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures approaching 100 degrees. The humidity will not be too oppressive with dew points falling to the low 60s in the afternoon. Some records highs are likely. There is a slight to low chance of a late day or evening shower but most places with be rain free. A heat advisory continues in effect.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday with showers and thunderstorms likely, some storms may be accompanied by heavy rain and strong gusty winds. High temperatures will not be as hot but it will be more humid with dew points rising to the low 70s.

High pressure will then build into our region on Tuesday giving us plenty of sunshine, seasonably warm temperatures and lower humidity.

The rest of the week temperatures will be at or slightly above normal along with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers Wednesday through Friday.

At this point next weekend looks to be mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures continuing.

A Bermuda high pressure ridge will give us another very hot day today with highs well up into the 90s however dew points will fall to the low 60s this afternoon, skies will be mostly sunny.

The very hot weather will continue on Sunday and temperatures may reach record levels as highs approach the 100 degree mark, humidity will rise with mostly dew points near 70 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny. A heat advisory remains in effect until Sunday night.

A cold front will approach our area on Monday and move offshore Monday night. Showers and thunderstorms are likely mainly in the afternoon and evening, some storms may become severe with strong gusty winds and very heavy rain. High temperatures will be slightly lower but the humidity will remain high.

Mainly dry weather with more seasonable temperatures and lower humidity Tuesday and Wednesday as weak high pressure moves into the area.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers Thursday into Friday.

Weak high pressure will give us a mostly sunny day today and it will again be hot with highs well up into the 90s. There is a slight chance of a shower mostly to our north and west. The humidity will be a little lower with dew points mainly in the low 60s. A heat advisory will continue through Sunday.

Very hot with slowly increasing humidity over the weekend. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 90s and near 100 on Sunday. Most areas will stay dry.

The next good chance of showers and thunderstorms will be on Monday as a cold front approaches our area during the day and move offshore Monday night. Highs will be a little lower but the humidity will be higher.

Another very hot day with even more humidity today as a high pressure ridge is in our area ahead of a weak cold front that should move through tonight. Skies should be mostly sunny but there is a chance of some showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon and this evening. With highs in the upper 90s and dew points in the low 70s will make heat indexes to rise to 105 degrees. A heat advisory continues in effect through Sunday.

High pressure will then build into our area on Friday with mostly sunny skies, still very hot but a little less humid.

Very hot weather to continue this weekend, high temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 90s and then near 100 on Sunday with higher humidity. A cold front approaching may touch off some showers and thunderstorms late Sunday night.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible on Monday as the cold front pushes through our area, with more clouds high temperatures will be a few degrees lower than the weekend.

High pressure ridge in our area today will give us mostly sunny skies with very hot temperatures. High temperatures will be well up into the 90s and with dew points in the upper 60s will raise heat indexes to near 100 degrees, a heat advisory is in effect.

Very hot with increasing humidity on Thursday as dew points rise to the low 70s. A weak cold front may cause some showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening.
