Showers today with some heavy rain continued very humid! Chance of showers tomorrow through Saturday morning!


Good morning everyone!

Another muggy early morning as temperatures are in the mid 70s in the Clifton area down to 70 further inland.  There are showers in the area with some heavy downpours.  Humidity remains high with dew points in the 70s.  Winds are from the southeast with some gusts to 20 mph.  Right now here in Clifton we are having a very heavy downpour.

Today we will have showers throughout the day and night, some of the showers will be heavy and a flood advisory is in effect.  Rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches with higher amounts possible especially further inland.  Temperatures with the clouds and rain will be lower but the humidity will remain high.

Shower chances continue Thursday and Friday as strong high pressure continues offshore and a front approaches from the west.  Winds will be more southwesterly giving us warmer temperatures and the humidity will remain high.

The front will pass through early Saturday morning with some lingering showers.   Dry weather with warm temperatures by Saturday afternoon through Sunday with lower humidity.

The dry weather will be short lived as we go back to the pattern that will likely give us more rain early next week along with higher humidity.

Good morning everyone!

It is another muggy early morning under mostly cloudy skies, temperatures range from the upper 70s in the Clifton area down to around 70 further inland.   Some showers are falling in some inland areas.  Humidity continues to be high with dew points in the 70s.  Winds are from the southeast 5-10 mph.

We are stuck in the same pattern with strong high pressure over the Atlantic and a front to our west.  Southeast winds with high humidity will continue today, there will be some showers mainly inland while the coastal areas should remain dry.

The front will come closer to our area on Wednesday which will cause widespread rain across our entire area through Wednesday night.  Rainfall will average 1-3 inches with higher amounts possible.  Temperatures will be slightly lower but the humidity will stay high.

Drier and somewhat warmer air for Thursday and Friday but the humidity will stay high along with a chance of a shower both days.

A cold front will cross the area Friday night and at this time the weekend looks mainly dry except for a possible shower Saturday morning, humidity will be lower.

Looking ahead it looks like the humidity along with wet weather will return next week.

Humid with showers and thunderstorms today! Humid weather this week to continue with chances of rain each day!

Skies are cloudy early this morning and it is warm and very muggy outside, temperatures range from the mid 70s in Clifton only ranging down to 70 further inland, the humidity is high with dew points in the 70s and we have some showers in the area.

A strong flow of humid air is coming up from the tropics and will be with us this week as a strong high pressure is off the coast and a front is just to our west.  Today will be a rather cloudy day with showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day, some of the rain will be heavy at times.

A little lower chance of precipitation during the day on Tuesday but heavy rain is likely Tuesday night through Thursday morning.

Still a chance of showers Thursday afternoon through Friday night.

After a front passes the area Saturday we should have less humid air along with dry conditions Saturday afternoon through Sunday.

Warmer and more humid today with scattered showers! Very humid with a chance of showers tomorrow through the end of the week!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy early this morning and there are some scattered showers across the area.   Temperatures have warmed into the low 70s in the Clifton area down to some mid 60s further inland, winds are gusty out of the southeast and the humidity is high with dew points mainly in the low 70s.

The low pressure that gave us the heavy rain overnight has moved into southeastern Pennsylvania and is moving to the northwest.  Most of the heavy rain has ended but some scattered showers will be in the area through day and night however we may see some breaks of sunshine by this afternoon.  Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday reaching the 80s and the humidity will be much higher with dew points in the low 70s.

Tropical air will be with us for most or if not all of this week with dew points in the oppressive low to mid 70s.  There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day mostly in the afternoon and evening.  High temperatures will be in the 80s and nighttime temperatures in the 70s.

A cold front may cross the area on Friday followed by a less humid air by next weekend.

Increasing clouds today with heavy rain tonight into early Sunday morning! Chance of showers and thunderstorms most of this upcoming week!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s in the Clifton area ranging down to the middle 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today we will have an increase in clouds as a low pressure moves up the coast,  there is a low chance of a shower this afternoon but most of the heavy rain will be after 8 p.m and continue till around daybreak on Sunday.  Winds will increase from the east-northeast with gusts up to 30 mph in the Clifton area and as high as 40 mph along the coast.  Rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches likely with higher amounts possible.  High temperatures today with the clouds and onshore wind will only rise into the upper 70s.

Most of the rest of Sunday will be dry but there will still be a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night.  Temperatures and humidity will rise as a warm front pushes north of our area.

Most of this upcoming week will be warm and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.  High pressure will be off the coast and low pressure will be to our west and that will cause a southerly flow of moist air.  Dew points during the period will average in the oppressive low to mid 70s.
