Unseasonably warm today and on Thursday with showers Thursday afternoon and evening! Much cooler and dry Friday through the weekend!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are nearly 15 degrees higher than on yesterday with readings ranging from the low 50s in the Clifton area to the low 40s further inland, winds are light.

Today we will have a mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching the low 70s.

Tomorrow is expected to be even a little warmer despite having mostly cloudy skies, a cold front approaching the area will cause showers and possibly a gusty thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening, the cold front will cross the area at night.

Much cooler and windy on Friday along with dry conditions.

A mainly dry pattern for the weekend into early next week with seasonably cool temperatures as high pressure builds into the area.

OCTOBER 2016 CLIMATE RECAP!      Temperatures averaged about 2 degrees above normal aided by the impressive warmth from the 17 to the 19th of the month.  Precipitation was below normal with 2.93″ recorded mostly falling in the last half of the month.  A drought warning continues to be in effect for our area.

Skies are mostly clear early on this first day of November and it is quite cool with temperatures ranging from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to some mid 20s further inland, there is a light northerly wind.

Today we should see plenty of sunshine with continued cool temperatures along with light winds.

A warm front will cross the area tonight bringing in much milder air into the region tomorrow, high temperatures will reach near 70 degrees along with mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures could be even higher on Thursday ahead of a cold front that will pass through the area in the evening, highs will reach well into the 70s.  Showers are likely ahead of the cold front Thursday afternoon and there may even be some thunder.

Much cooler and dry weather on Friday with cool and dry weather continuing into the weekend.

Cooler and dry weather for today and tomorrow! Quite mild Wednesday and Thursday with showers likely Thursday afternoon!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s here in Clifton to the upper 30s further inland, there is a brisk northerly wind.  Yesterday the temperature reached 76 degrees which was a record high here in Clifton for the date, we also had a rare late season strong thunderstorm in the afternoon that gave us .54″ of rain.

The cold front that caused the showers has now moved offshore as high pressure builds into our area from Canada, today will be much cooler with highs only in the 50s, winds will be gusty this morning before diminishing this afternoon.

Tomorrow will be dry with tempertures still on the cool side.

Much milder again Wednesday and Thursday with showers likely Thursday afternoon.

Cool and dry weather Friday through the upcoming weekend!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are quite mild ranging from the low 60s here in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, these readings are about 25 degrees warmer than this time yesterday.

Despite plenty of clouds we temperatures will still be quite mild today with highs reaching the low 70s.  A cold front will cross the area this afternoon causing showers late this afternoon through early this evening.

Cooler on Halloween but it will be dry and rather comfortable for trick-or-treaters.

Tuesday will be seasonably cool with partly cloudy skies.  Warmer Wednesday and Thursday with another chance of showers Thursday afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches the area.

Seasonably cool and dry weather for Friday into next weekend.

Mostly sunny and much milder today after a chilly morning! Mild with afternoon showers likely on Sunday! Cool and dry weather for Halloween!


Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures are quite cool with readings ranging from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to the upper 20s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be milder than the last few days as a warm front moves to our north, with plenty of sunshine temperatures will rise into the 60s by this afternoon, winds will be light and it will a very pleasant day.  On this day in 2011 we had six inches of snow and in 2012  Hurricane Sandy affected our area.

It will be quite mild overnight with lows in the 50s.  High temperatures on Sunday will be close to 70 degrees but a weak cold front will likely give us some light rain in the afternoon and evening.

High pressure will build into the area on Monday giving us a mostly fair and cool Halloween.

Seasonably cool on Tuesday but tempertures will again be quite mild Wednesday and Thursday.

Some showers possible Thursday evening followed by cooler and dry conditions for Friday.
