Plenty of sunshine with warmer temperatures the next couple of days!


Skies have cleared this morning and temperatures are in the low to mid 60s, dew points are in the low 60s so it feels a little muggy.
With more sunshine temperatures today will be much warmer than the last couple of days reaching the upper 80s in many spots.
Sunny and quite warm again on Wednesday.
A cold front will be approaching the area on Thursday that could cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
Dry weather returns on Friday, it will be seasonably warm but becoming less humid.
Another refreshing air mass over area for the weekend with temperatures a little below normal along with low humidity.
Dry weather is likely to extend to early next week with slightly warmer temperatures.

More typical August weather this week!


Under mostly cloudy skies temperatures at daybreak are in the low to mid 60s.
Today we will still have lots of clouds around as moisture is still streaming toward our area from the system over the southeast states. There will be a slight chance of an afternoon shower but most areas will stay dry. Temperatures will be a few degrees higher than on the weekend reaching the low 80s.
More sunshine on Tuesday with temperatures rising above normal.
Quite warm to hot Wednesday and Thursday with high temperatures reaching the 90 degree area.
Humidity levels will increase somewhat also with dew points rising to the mid 60s.
A cold front may give us a shower on Thursday night.
Sunny weather will return on Friday and should last through the weekend with near normal temperatures and lower humidity.

Cloudy Sunday with some light rain possible!


Skies have become cloudy this morning with temperatures at sunrise are in the low 60s.
At 6am light rain has reached as far north as the Philadelphia area and there is a 50-50 chance that this rain will move into the Clifton area today, any rain will be light with less than a tenth of inch falling. High temperatures will only reach the mid-upper 70s.
A warming trend will start on Monday and extend until around Friday, highs will be in the low 80s to start the week but reach around the 90 degree mark on Wednesday and Thursday.
A cold front is expected to cross the area on Friday with some showers possible, otherwise most of the upcoming week will be rain free.
At this point next weekend is forecast to be dry with seasonably warm temperatures.

Comfortable weather conditions to continue this weekend!


Temperatures this morning at dawn have dropped to around 60 in the Clifton area to the 50s inland, about 5 degrees higher than at this time yesterday.
Today we will continue to have plenty of sunshine with the high temperature a degree or two higher than on Friday, dew points still in the comfortable 50s
Sunday we will have more clouds as a disturbance moves off the coast south of us, most rain will remain to our south across Southern New Jersey. Temperatures will be a little cooler with the cloud cover but humidity levels will stay low.
A slow warming trend starting next week as we get back to more normal August weather, temperatures will rise to around 90 degrees by Wednesday with dew points rising to the 60s. Most of next week will be rain free.
It appears a cold front will cross the area next Friday with another cool and refreshing air mass for our area next weekend.

Pleasant weather to extend through the weekend!


Another mostly clear morning with daybreak temperatures again in the 50s with some 40s in the normally colder areas.
Today will be very similar to yesterday’s weather with sunny skies, low humidity and high temperatures around 80 degrees or a bit above.
A rather nice weekend is on tap with dry weather continuing but there may be some more clouds on Sunday as a weak disturbance to our south pushes out to sea, precipitation should be confined to extreme Southern New Jersey. Temperatures will be slightly below normal with dew points remaining in the comfortable 50s.
A slow increase in temperatures and humidity levels next week as return to more typical August weather. Temperatures may reach the 90 degree mark by Wednesday. There is a slight chance of a light shower on Monday and Tuesday but most areas will not see any rain through next Friday.
