A very warm but dry Tuesday!


Yesterday was a much more pleasant day with highs mostly in the upper 80s with lower humidity and a nice breeze, look for just about the same weather for today although the humidity will start to rise towards evening..

Today will be mostly sunny with highs around 90.

Tonight a warm front will be approaching from the west with thunderstorm chances increasing after 1am, low around 70.

July 4th – Good chance of morning thunderstorms and as the warm front moves through it will again be hot and humid with mostly cloudy skies, highs in the mid 90s, another round of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening.

Thursday, sunny and hot but less humid, highs in the low 90s.

Friday, sunny with highs in the low 90s

Saturday, partly sunny and more humid, highs in the mid 90s.

Sunday, sunny with a high near 90..

Longer relief in sight from the heat for next week, highs mostly in the 80s.

After having temperatures over the weekend in the mid to upper 90s a weak cold front came through last night so we are starting off the day with clear skies and lower humidity.

Today will be sunny with low humidity levels, highs still reach 90 degrees or a bit above.

Tonight clear and a bit cooler with lows in the low 60s..

Tuesday will be much like today with sunny skies and with comfortable humidity, highs again around 90.

A warm front will be moving through on Independence Day bringing with it higher temperatures and humidity, a good chance of thunderstorms into the evening, highs in the low 90s.

Friday, sunny with high again around 90.

Saturday, mostly sunny but a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm, highs in the low 90s.

Yesterday it was mainly in the mid 90s but a bit less humid than on Friday. Less hot for the upcoming week but temperatures will still average above normal..

Today will be hot again, humidity may go up a couple of notches but still not oppressive, highs again in the mid 90s, Chance of a thundershower after 2PM..

Tonight chance of a early evening thunderstorm, partly cloudy, lows in the upper 60s

Monday, Sunny, not as hot with temperatures around 90.

Tuesday, mostly sunny with highs again near 90.

Marine forecast: Today west-southwest wind less than 10 knots, seas around 3 feet, chance of thunderstorms.. Outlook for the week has below small craft advisory levels but boaters should be aware of scattered thunderstorms especially on Wednesday.

Power is still out for many people that were affected by the “Super Derecho” that hit from the mid-west to Southern New Jersey. About 3 million people lost there power as these storms created as much widespread damage than some hurricanes.

Hot weather to continue through the weekend!


We are located on the northern fringe of very hot air, while it was in the upper 90s here many areas especially from Tennessee to the Carolinas up to Baltimore temperatures were well into the 100s, some areas had their all time heat records broken. To top it off a extremely strong cluster of thunderstorms called a DERECHO moved from the Chicago area through to Southern New Jersey causing massive power outages and some fatalities. Wind gusts to 90MPH in some of these intense fast moving storms.

Today will be very hot here once again with highs in the mid to upper 90s with mostly sunny skies.

Tonight into early tomorrow morning another of those clusters of thunderstorms will be moving mainly just to our south but there is a chance it may reach our area, lows around 70.

Monday, mostly sunny and hot but less humid with highs near 90.

Tuesday through Friday, dry with highs in the upper 80s to around 90.

Early thunderstorms moving away, now it really is going to get hot!


Quick moving thunderstorms around 5am as a warm front passed through. I woke up to the thunder again but the rain didn’t last long and I was able to go for an early jog.

Today becoming mostly sunny and very hot, moderately humid with highs from the upper 90s to 100.

Tonight mostly clear with lows around 70.

Saturday, sunny, highs in the mid 90s.

Late Saturday night into early Sunday morning a chance of more early thunderstorms.

Sunday becoming mostly sunny, highs in the lower 90s

Monday through Thursday, partly cloudy with highs mostly in the upper 80s.
