The sun returns in time for the “work” week!

After a cloudy, damp and chilly weekend the sun is coming out this Monday morning! Today will be windy but dry and highs in the mid-upper 50s.

Tonight will be cool with some inland areas going down to around 30 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with milder temperatures rising to the low 60s after a chilly start, it will still be windy.

Overnight Tuesday is the only chance of rain for the week and it is only a 20% chance, low in the 40s..

Clearing Wednesday but still breezy, highs again in the low 60s..

Thursday and Friday look pleasant with sunny days and clear nights, highs in the upper 50s.

Easter weekend looks quite pleasant at this time with highs on Saturday in the low 60s warming up on Easter Sunday to the upper 60s..

Hello April and we are going to have some April showers!

March 2012 at Central Park was the 2nd warmest and 4th driest, their records go back to 1869! In fact if it was not so cold and it didn’t rain they would have broken  both records.
However their combination of Feb-Mar 2012 was by far the warmest such period smashing the previous record by 3 degrees. That is the reason all the flowers and trees are blooming so early.

Today will be mostly cloudy but it will be milder with highs in the upper 50s. Showers are likely from about 5PM-11PM tonight.

Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the 50s

Tuesday will be mild with highs in the 60s. Slight chance of a shower in the evening

Wednesday through Friday look quite nice with no rain and highs mainly in the upper 50s, near normal for this time of year..

No sunrise seen this morning!!

Today is the first day of my retirement and I was looking forward to seeing my first sunrise today but there many more nice sunrises to happen in the very near future…
Overnight we had some heavier rain and even some sleet in some areas.

Today will be damp and chilly with occasional light rain or drizzle most of the day, highs in the 40s.. .

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy not as cool with highs in the 50s however chance of more showers in the afternoon and evening…

Monday looks nice with highs in the low 60s, bit breezy however..

Tuesday will start off nice but more showers again in the late afternoon and into early Wednesday morning, highs again in the low 60s.

Later Wednesday through the rest of the week looks good with plenty of sun and with temperatures seasonable for the first week of April with highs in the upper 50s..

TGIF – in more ways than one!

My last day at work at PSE&G and it will be a pleasant day weather wise too as we will have mainly sunny skies and highs in the 50s.

Increasing cloudiness tonight will rain developing mainly after midnight with lows in the upper 30s.

Saturday I was going to take a picture of the first sunrise for the next chapter of my life and of course it will be cloudy with rain. After having one of the warmest and driest March on record, this day will be cold and raining with highs in the 40s. In fact some of the inland suburbs will have some snow mixed in with the rain. Most of the rain will end by the afternoon but it will remain cloudy.

Sunday will be milder with some sun but still a chance of a shower, highs in the upper 50s.

The warmup that was forecast for early next week will be scaled down and instead of highs in the 70s most highs will be in the low 60s. At this time there is a chance of showers especially on Tuesday..

Enjoy the weather because it is what it is…..

Cooler and breezy Thursday!

After yesterday’s mild day with even a clasp of thunder today will feature partly sunny skies and it will be breezy with highs only reaching around 60 despite it being in the 50s early this morning.

Tonight clear and chilly with lows in the low 30s.

Friday clouds will increase later in the day, highs in the 50s.

Saturday now looks wet and chilly as a low pressure moves to our south, with clouds, rain and an onshore flow temperatures will mainly be in the 40s.

Better on Sunday with some sun and highs going back up to the low to mid 60s.

Looks like a mild start to the weather next week, highs in the upper 60s..
