Last day of summer in March, cooler weekend with rain developing!

Another very warm day today but a bit less humid, highs will again reach the 70s, more typical of early June..

Saturday clouds will increase and rain will develop towards evening, highs still above normal in the 60s.

Sunday rain will continue, cooler still, highs in the 50s.

Monday clearing skies with highs around 60.

A cold front will come through Monday night with temperatures falling into the 30s and highs on Tuesday in the low 50s, it will be windy. Also bring in those tender plants especially if you live well inland since there may be some below freezing temperatures on Monday and Tuesday night..

Wednesday a bit milder with highs near 60 degrees…

It really is foggy out there this morning!

Dense fog since last night caused many travel problems with visibilities less than 100 yards, this fog will burn off this morning and unlike yesterday we will have more sunshine as a result highs will soar into the 70s.. Yesterday’s high was only 67 here while it was 83 in Portland Maine..

Tomorrow a “weak” cold front will come through lowering humidity levels but highs will still be in the 70s with mostly sunny skies..

Saturday we will have increasing clouds with rain developing towards evening, highs in the 60s.

Sunday we will have cloudy skies all day with periods of rain highs only in the 50s which is normal for this time of year..

Monday we will have clearing highs around 60..

Tuesday, lots of sun, high in the upper 50s..

Wednesday bit milder with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Warm weather continues through Friday!

Just like yesterday we have low clouds and fog that will burn off later this morning and highs will be similar to yesterday in the low-mid 70s.

Tomorrow there will be some low clouds and fog but it should burn off quicker and as a result highs will rise to the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

Friday a weak cold front will move to our south but it still will be unseasonably warm with readings again reaching the 70s..

The weekend will not be as warm with highs in the 50s to the low 60s and rain is likely from late Saturday into Sunday…

Monday and Tuesday will have clearing with highs near 60 degrees..

Welcome Spring!

Well astronomical spring started this morning, thank goodness winter is over! Oh yeah, what winter?

Today clouds and fog are occurring but they will burn off around noon, a bit more of a southeast wind will keep highs from reaching the very warm levels of yesterday, reaching just above 70 degrees.

Wednesday we will again start out with low clouds but they should burn off quicker and highs will be a couple of degrees warmer into the low 70s.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with highs around 80 degrees.

Friday a bit cooler with highs in the low 70s, still way above the normal high which is in the low 50s.

The weekend looks cooler still with a chance of rain from late Saturday into Sunday, highs around 60.

Early next week looks dry with highs in the 60s but as the week progresses we should see temperatures cool off to near normal as we end March and start April and that will feel downright chilly….

Remarkably warm and dry week ahead!

Now the calendar says March but this week the weather will be more like May as the remarkably warm month continues.. Just think the normal high temperature for this time of year is in the low 50s.

Today will feature mostly sunny skies with highs mainly in the mid 70s, cooler along the ocean..

Tuesday there will be a weak back door cold front moving in and it will be just slightly cooler with highs in the upper 60s again cooler along the coast.

Back up into the 70s on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies..

Thursday should be the warmest day of the week as winds will be more westerly, highs may exceed 80 degrees even along the coast.

Friday a cold front will come through with a slight chance of showers, highs “only” near 70 degrees..

Cooler on the weekend with showers possible Sunday., highs still above normal in the 60s..

I should have taken this week off on vacation…

And as warm it has been around here the upper midwest even as more remarkable warmth.. Chicago went above 80 degrees again. The ice box city of International Falls Minnesota it hit 77 degrees yesterday, 4 degrees higher than any March temperature and broke their record for the day by more than 20 degrees.
